Residences at 57 South is a historic rehabilitation/restoration of the Cabarrus Saving Bank building, which was constructed in 1923 and includes 17 market-rate loft apartments as well as residential amenity spaces. The historic bank hall, vaults, former first floor, lower level, and mezzanine office spaces will become co-working space, featuring both private and open work areas as well as artist studios. The project is scheduled to be completed by December 2020.
